Mia L. Knipper

Associate Attorney

Mia L. Knipper was born and raised in Morada, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of the Pacific, graduating Cum Laude in 2016 with a major in English and minors in Communications and Pre- Law. Mia received her Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Elder and Health Law from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in May 2020.

In college, Mia ran cross country and track for University of the Pacific, a Division I program in the West Coast conference earning school records in the 1500 meter, 2 mile and 5k. In the year before attending law school, Mia worked as a substitute teacher in the Stockton Unified School district teaching grades K-8th and high school.

During law school Mia worked for Judge Kruger at the State Personnel Board. She also worked at the Elder Law Clinic, helping the elderly with estate planning and providing legal assistance for those seeking protection from financial elder abuse. She received the Witkin Award for the highest grade in Health Law.

Mia joined the Lenahan firm in April 2019 as a law clerk and was offered an associate position thereafter. Upon passing the October 2020 California Bar examination, Mia began practice with the firm as a Workers’ Compensation defense attorney.

When not practicing law, Mia is an avid runner, completing multiple half and full marathons including the Boston Marathon. She loves traveling and enjoys fishing, shopping, and baking.
