Kelly Timothy was born and raised in Woodland, California. She attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies in 2005. While attending UC Berkeley, Mrs. Timothy played softball and competed at the Women’s College World Series all four years. During that four-year period, the Bears softball team competed in the national championship game three times, and in 2002 garnered the first ever women’s National Championship in UC Berkeley history.

After her undergraduate work, Mrs. Timothy attended Pepperdine University School of Law and graduated in 2008. She was an Associate Editor of Pepperdine’s Law Review and worked as a legal research and writing teaching assistant. She was admitted to practice law in December 2008, and is now working exclusively in the workers’ compensation department at the Lenahan firm.

Mrs. Timothy is married to Danny Timothy, a middle school teacher, and they have two daughters, Hadley and Kacie. When not practicing law, she volunteers at her daughters’ schools, coaches her daughters’ sports, plays golf, and enjoys traveling with her family.
