Jessica M. Valenti

Jessica M. Valenti received her Bachelor of Arts from Dominican University of California, graduating Cum Laude in 2009 with a degree in Psychology. While in college, Jessica played tennis and earned the opportunity to compete at the national level. After graduating from college, Jessica began attending the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law as a full-time day student in August 2009. She graduated from Pacific McGeorge with her Juris Doctorate in May 2012.

After completing her first year of law school and earning a position in the top twenty percent of her class, Jessica applied for and received a position as a member and staff writer for the Global Business and Development Law Journal. Jessica went on to become an Associate Editor for the Global Business and Development Journal and received honors for her work as an editor during her third year at McGeorge.

Jessica joined the Lenahan firm in November 2011, as a law clerk in the Sacramento office. She was offered an associate position with the firm shortly thereafter. Upon passing the July 2012 California Bar Examination, she began practicing law as a workers’ compensation defense attorney. She has since presented various workers’ compensation topics at multiple seminars, including the firm’s annual MCLE approved Fall Legal Update. Her primary area of practice is Workers’ Compensation insurance defense.

When not practicing law, Jessica enjoys boating, bicycling, hiking, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
