Emily R. Manzer
Associate Attorney
Emily Manzer graduated cum laude from California State University, Sacramento in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. While at Sacramento State, Emily was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Society. After graduation, she began attending California Western School of Law in San Diego.
During law school, Emily was an associate editor for the California Western Law Review. She published an article discussing the SEC’s experimental rulemaking authority. Emily had internships with the public defender’s office, a private securities firm, and the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. She graduated cum laude from California Western as part of the Public Service Honor Society in 2022.
Emily joined the Lenahan Firm in June 2022 after passing the February 2022 California Bar Examination.
Outside of work, Emily spends her time outdoors with her dog, Chappie. She enjoys gardening, hiking, kayaking, and attending concerts and comedy shows.
