David M. Obisanya
David was born and raised in Sacramento, California. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in December of 2014, from California State University, Sacramento. After graduating from college, David began attending University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law part-time. In his first year, he was among only a handful of students to earn the Sacramento County Bar Association Diversity Fellowship Scholarship.
While attending law school, he served in various board positions on several student organizations, including President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Club. David also represented the university in the 2018 ABA Regional Negotiation Competition as a member of the McGeorge Negotiation Team. He was later the recipient of the Outstanding Student Service Award for contributions made to the McGeorge community.
David joined the Lenahan firm in September of 2018 as a law clerk. Upon passing the October 2020 California Bar Examination, he began practicing law as a workers’ compensation defense attorney. When not practicing law, David enjoys watching movies and sports (basketball in particular), working out at the gym, and spending time with his family and friends – especially his wife, Ashley.
