Nicole J. Flanagan

Nicole Flanagan was born and raised in Sacramento, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2001 from the University of California, Davis.

While attending UC Davis, she worked as an office manager and swing dance instructor. She competed in nation-wide swing dance competitions and co-founded a swing dance performance team that performed at Arco Arena and other venues.

After graduation, she worked for three years as a claims examiner for LWP Claims Solutions in Sacramento, adjusting workers’ compensation claims for self-insured employers (including 7-UP), construction, trucking, and other employers. She quickly advanced from entry level Trainee to Senior Examiner, assisting with audits and supervision. She left LWP to attend law school, where she was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship.

Mrs. Flanagan joined the Lenahan firm in 2005, as a law clerk in the Sacramento office. In 2007 she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Upon passing the July 2007 California State Bar Exam, she began practicing law as a workers’ compensation defense attorney.

When not practicing law, she enjoys dance, motorcycle rides, and spending time with her family and friends.
